Playroom for Children on admission in the Paediatric ward
The Rotary Club of Yenagoa Sunshine is committed to creating a supportive, welcoming, and child-friendly environment where children receiving medical care can feel comfortable, engaged, and encouraged during their stay in the hospital.
Through our Children’s Playroom Project, we aim to provide a safe and colourful space within the Paediatric Ward where admitted children can play, learn, interact, and enjoy recreational activities while receiving treatment.
The playroom is designed to help reduce the stress, fear, and boredom that children may experience during hospital admission. Through age-appropriate games, books, toys, creative activities, and opportunities for interaction, children can continue to learn, express themselves, and enjoy meaningful moments despite being in the hospital.
With the support of Rotary members, healthcare professionals, partners, and community stakeholders, this project reflects our commitment to promoting the well-being, emotional development, and overall experience of children during their hospital stay.
